This is the extractor we have used to perform every extraction on this site for the last 4 years.
We use butane as the primary solvent for this extractor but the extractor can handle the pressure of other solvents up to 200 psi, or any conbination of.
However BUTANE is considered the holy grail of extraction solvents by some of the top extraction labs in the world. I have to say, after nearing 10 years in this field, I AGREE!
Due to the lower pressures of butane, you do not need the expensive pumps to move liquid from one tank to another and you do not need the expensive vaumn pumps to recapture the solvent to use again. In addition you do not need heat or pressure pumps. These pumps can cost in excess of $15,000 per pump and they need servicing on a regular basis.
There is no need for high heat or high pressure with this system.
The fact that you are using butane as your primary solvent and the facts that you do not need high heat and high pressure, means that you will not have to deal with the destruction of the molecules and you will not produce rancid extractions associated with heat, pressure and inferior solvents.
We only offer extractors in the 3 gallon/12 liters capacity at this time.
A 3 gallon extractor means you can extract from 3 kilograms of material at one time. That is just under 7 pounds of ground up plant material.
We can make any size needed starting at 1/2 liter table top units up to 6 gallon or 25 liter capacity
I do not recommend the use of one solvent over another and I am not advocating the use of any one solvent per say. I am informing you that this extractor is a totally enclosed extractor with interchangable seals to handle a variety of solvents and can handle the pressure associated with solvents that produce up to 200 psi at 100F.

Both bills introduced to control Salvia divinorum in Texas have failed!
BILL: HB2347
As of August 16th, 2007, this bill failed to pass before the close of legislature on May 28th, Reference: Bill history. The next time this bill can be reheard is January 1st, 2009
HB2347, would have added Salvia divinorum and salvinorin A to the Penalty Group 2 of the Texas Controlled Substance Act, effective Sep 1, 2007.
BILL: SB1796
As of May 2, 2007, this bill failed to pass before the close of legislature on May 28th, Reference: Bill history. The nest time this bill can be reheard is January 1st, 2009 Bill SB1796
This bill would have placed control on selling of SD to minors. Something no person in their right mind ever should do anyway.
Both bills introduced to control salvia divinorum failed to pass. Both died in legislature. Please, lets all be more responsible so that we do not need to be controlled.

I sum up the answer to the question regarding milligrams of SA per gram of extract. "What is the standardized amount"
:Let me explain this so that we can remain clear.
THERE IS ALWAYS 2.4 MILLIGRAMS OF SA IN A GRAM OF SD LEAF.
We have never pulled out more or less than .2 difference.
And I bet that was error by the process in some way.
I ordered leaves from many suppliers in different locations over the years.
Hawaii, Mazatec, Oaxaca and more. Even India.
Never did one leaf ever show any difference than stated above.
After all it is a leaf being extracted and not the bud of a plant. Flowers are very very rare.
So with that said you can say that 10x will always have 24 milligrams per gram
And 20 will be twice that if they are standardized.
If you are buying 20X that contains 80 milligrams of SA in a gram, then you are really buying into the marketing strategy of selling 33x as 20X. And you are paying for 33X too. Do the math and determine what you are paying for each milligram of SA from the same company.
If you want more SA per gram you just make it stronger but then it is not standardized to the standard of 2.4. When Salvia Extracts became standardized they did so because people were making poor extracts and customers were not getting all of the SA pulled out due to the poor method of the extraction making process. That is a thing of the past. Now the extracts are cleaner and represent the SA content more accurately.
Standardized calls for the extractor to place all of the SA back onto the leaf in a given amount that represents exactly what a plant offers. This enhancement of 5, 10, and 20 times stronger is merely a reflection of what the plant contains. Since Salvia divinorum always contains roughly the same amount of SA. Then you can give every gram of extrract a known amount and call it the industry standard..That is the standard that has been shown for a gram of leaf to hold in it's raw dried form.
Hence the term "standard"
Poor extractors were not getting all of the SA out. They simply extracted from 100 grams and poured lipids and all back onto 10 grams to make 10X. When they were done they had so much weight in lipids that the extract weighed not to 10 grams as planned, but more like 14 or 15 grams. Well 15 divided into 100 gave you a strength of 6.6X. Far less than 10X. Unhappy customers resulted. Now extractors were called out to weigh the amount of SA they put back onto the leaf. Guaranteeing that 100% of the SA was placed onto the final product. With no waste or lipids accounting for the weight. The standardized process calls for a very clean pure form of the chemical to be made. So that it can be weighed. So that it can be applied to the standard set forth by the SA content of the plant, Salvia divinorum in this example, which is always 2.4 mg.
The point is that a leaf of Salvia divinorum contains 2.4 milligrams of SA per gram of Raw leaf. Real 20X will have 48 mg of SA per gram of extract. If made by the standardized process it will contain little to no waste or lipids.
You can call it what ever X you want.
most people are asking me for 80 milligrams per gram when we make 20X for them.
What they are asking for is 33X. They end up calling it really strong 20X.
Go figure.
I just make them what they want and dont argue. The labor and leaf is still the same cost.
LOL
I charge to extract the milligrams of SA out. I can make the enhancement to what ever they want made. If I extract from 2000 grams of leaf I will be able to make 100 grams of 20X OR 60 grams of 33X. They still pay me $800 to make that product. In the end a gram of 33X cost 800 divided by 60 for 33x equalling $13 or 800 divided by 100 for 20X which cost $8..
If you ask for 20x that has 80 milligrams of SA in it
and you ask for real 33x that someone sells as 33x which also has 80 milligrams of SA in it, you will pay the same price.
What a surprise.
:o)
Kratom does vary a great deal quantitavely in it's chemical makup from leaf to leaf..
There is no standard for that other than to make it standardized to the quality
of the leaf you extract from. And standardized in the sense that it is made by a cleaning process.
I think what you are wanting is to know that your extract is clean and has all the
chemical that is pulled out of it deposited back onto the leaf when the enhancement is made. And to know what the weight of that chemcial is.
Without the lipids. We clean our extracts to 90% purity or better.
We do that very well.
Our process is developed by years of trial and error. We have the only process in the world that allows crystals of SA to form on the outside surface of the leaf flakes when the extract is made.
It looks like sparkling diamonds under a bright light. ~
I challenge any extractor to make a better extract milligram for milligram.

Legal Status Page
has now been added to the site.
A
brief view into the future.
There has been much controversy
over the sale of many botanicals this past year
of 2005 and 06. During the sorting out of how
to legislate the legality of selling this material
you will find that some products will no longer
be available to you and or availble to sale
based on what state or country you live in.
We will comply with all state and federal laws
without exception. So don't ask!
Eventually the site product list may change
or even be shut down as it exist now. This is
something we have been aware of. Gearing up
for this we have began a much desired move into
the holistic field of research that was our
original plan to begin with. This new field
will present reseach accumulated over the past
years during countless legal and ethical extractions
of a wide variety of ethically harvested herbals
from all over the world. Along with data accumulated
from many sources.
Particular sources of interest to us and we
feel to you as well are.
Physiological
and psychological research has allowed many new
and remarkable discoveries to be made in the recent
past years. This is both new and exciting. Advancements
in laboratory processes, that make the research
more feasable for lower income laboratory technicians,
doctors and scientist has allowed many otherwise
unknowns to come onto a playing field that was
otherwise controlled by the tycoons of industry
and manufacturing. These new bright minds will
lay the footwork, as many have before them, into
bigger and brighter fields of study and discoveries.
Such as electrical molecular alteration as well
as bringing light to the harm of a "cover
up the symtoms of illness via phamaceuticals approach"
so common today. Hopefully we can gain more insight
into just how powerful we are, and how powerful
we are when in union with common materials readily
availble to us, so that WE can heal our own bodies
and minds and in so doing prevent disease and
cure rather than cover up.
